With millions of ads posted each month, eBay Kleinanzeigen is the biggest classifieds business in Germany. In 2020 we started the journey of implementing a completely new user journey: Payments and shipping. I led the design efforts on the project including strategy planning, research, wireframes and product design.

In 2018 I was approached by the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg. Their brand and website hadn’t been touched in over a decade and there wasn’t a brand or marketing team in place that could manage it going forward. They needed an updated brand that fit the orchestra and a new website that would be easy to maintain and still feel up to date. I delivered that updated brand, new logo, social media and marketing assets as well as designed their relaunched website.

After launching the new Outbank in June 2016 and 1.5 years of fast paced feature implementation and brand evolution the pain points of the design language and development processes were clear. The team knew that we needed a flexible and open design system that assured usability for users and was easy-to-implement by developers.
